can you live off of 100RMB a week? 09/22/2009
![]() This week i shall answer that question, as a foreigner in the city i tend to find myself spending quite a bit of money on a daily basis, in fact i would easily say i average about 50 RMB a day! when in comparison there are quite a few locals who manage to live off about 10-15 a day. So what can i change about my lifestyle in order to save some cash and at the same time eat healthy? follow the week long chronicle as i will be posting updates daily. sniperblack... More than meets the eye. 09/21/2009
![]() Last Thursday @ Chongqing Tiandi, marked the opening of The British Council's Transforming Public Spaces, "a major eight-month project bringing together communities, artists, architects and urban planners." The project opened with a photography exhibit that was the result of a competition challenging its participants to capture Chongqing's public spaces, and marks the begining of an art synthesis between British and Chinese artists and citizens that aims to get people to view public spaces in a different light, "a key element of this is the consideration of the role that art can play in shaping cities by transforming public spaces and thereby improving the quality of urban life." This was the first of a number of events including FLOCK, a mixed media instillation by UK artist collaborative KMA in November. | ArchivesFebruary 2012 CategoriesAll |
