Its Thursday and its been about 3 days going, and i have to say doesn't seem to hard. utilizing public transport which is about 1.5 to 2.5 one way depending on your destination it has been manageable, as far as food goes well leng mian and fangbien mian always do the trick but have opted to do some veggie shopping in some underground veggie markets and cook soups that can last me a couple of days, so far i'm left with 40 .5 and enough food to last me till Sunday, the biggest test is going to be the weekend. getting my alcohol fix is going to be a bit of an experience with all the cheap rice wine who knows what i will choose. look out for the next post on Saturday.

This week i shall answer that question, as a foreigner in the city i tend to find myself spending quite a bit of money on a daily basis, in fact i would easily say i average about 50 RMB a day! when in comparison there are quite a few locals who manage to live off about 10-15 a day. So what can i change about my lifestyle in order to save some cash and at the same time eat healthy? follow the week long chronicle as i will be posting updates daily.
